Spare Parts Supply - Project

About Us

To get the right spares on the shelf, identified by failure consequence and lead time rather than by purchase frequency and convenience.

Who We Are

About Our Company

W&O Supply Netherlands supplies industrial spare parts and manages spares inventory for process and manufacturing plants. We supply bearings, seals and gaskets, drive components, couplings, belts and chain, electrical and control parts, instrumentation, hydraulic and pneumatic components, filtration, wear parts and fabricated items. Alongside supply we provide critical spares identification, part number cross-referencing and identification from samples, obsolete parts sourcing and reverse engineering, storeroom review and optimization, vendor managed and consignment inventory, shutdown kitting and emergency sourcing.

Maintenance teams around work with W&O Supply Netherlands because spares inventory is almost always wrong in both directions at once. Storerooms accumulate quantities of inexpensive, readily available items while the one long lead-time component whose failure stops the plant is not held at all. Part numbers get lost, items get stocked under three different descriptions, and nobody can identify the unmarked bearing from a critical drive. We review inventory against installed equipment and failure consequence, identify what genuinely belongs on the shelf, source the parts others report as unavailable, and reverse engineer the items that genuinely no longer exist.

Spare Parts Supply - Service

Core Capabilities

  • Shutdown kits are picked, counted and verified against the work scope.
  • Critical spares recommendations are based on failure consequence and lead time.
  • Substitutions are documented and approved by the customer before supply.
  • Unmarked parts are identified by measurement and material assessment.
  • Managed inventory levels are reviewed against consumption and criticality.
  • Storeroom reviews record obsolete and non-moving stock with reasoning.

Spare Parts Supply - Client

Services

When a part is discontinued and the original manufacturer no longer exists, sourcing becomes investigation and sometimes manufacture. We do both rather than reporting that it is unavailable.

Our Process

How We Work

  1. 1

    Review Equipment & Inventory

We assess installed equipment, existing stock, failure history, lead times, redundancy and the consequence of each potential failure on production.

  2. 2

    Define The Critical List

A recommended stocking list is produced with reasoning per item, alongside identification of duplicate holdings, obsolete stock and gaps on genuinely critical components.

  3. 3

    Source, Identify Or Manufacture

Parts are supplied from stock, cross-referenced, sourced through specialist channels where discontinued, or reverse engineered and manufactured where nothing remains available.

  4. 4

    Manage & Support

Vendor managed or consignment arrangements are set up, shutdown kits prepared and verified, and the critical list reviewed periodically as equipment and failure history change.

Our Services

What We Do

Part Identification From Samples
Step 01

Part Identification From Samples

Identification of unmarked or illegible components by measurement and application, producing a part number and current source. Unmarked bearings, seals and electrical parts from critical drives are a routine and solvable problem rather than a dead end.

Storeroom Review & Optimization
Step 02

Storeroom Review & Optimization

Inventory review covering duplicate items stocked under different descriptions, obsolete stock for equipment no longer installed, reorder points, bin labelling and kitting, with recommendations on what to add and what to write off.

Request a Quote
Reverse Engineering & Manufacture
Step 03

Reverse Engineering & Manufacture

Measurement, drawing and manufacture of spare parts no longer available, including machined components, castings, seals, bushings and wear parts, with material selection confirmed and the original design weaknesses flagged where they exist.

Obsolete & Hard-To-Find Sourcing
Step 04

Obsolete & Hard-To-Find Sourcing

Location of discontinued parts through surplus channels, decommissioned equipment, specialist brokers and remaining manufacturer stock, with condition and provenance stated. Where nothing remains, we move to reverse engineering rather than reporting the part unavailable.

Mechanical & MRO Parts Supply
Step 05

Mechanical & MRO Parts Supply

Bearings, seals and gaskets, couplings, belts, chain, sprockets, bushings, fasteners, filtration, hydraulic and pneumatic components and wear parts from stock, with cross-referencing across manufacturers verified on the details that affect service life rather than on dimensions alone.

Critical Spares Identification
Step 06

Critical Spares Identification

Review of installed equipment against failure consequence, lead time, redundancy and repairability to establish which items genuinely belong on the shelf. Most storerooms hold the wrong inventory in both directions, with too much of the cheap and none of the critical.

Shutdown Kitting & Managed Inventory
Step 07

Shutdown Kitting & Managed Inventory

Advance kitting of shutdown scope with every item verified present before the outage begins, plus vendor managed and consignment inventory arrangements. Shutdowns lose more time to missing parts than to labour availability.

Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Parts

Contactors, relays, drives, sensors, switches, controllers, instrumentation and electrical components, including identification of current equivalents for discontinued items and assessment of whether a control platform can still be supported at all.

Our Advantages

Why Clients Choose Us

Shutdown Kits Verified Complete

Every item is confirmed present before the outage starts, because shutdowns lose more time to missing parts than to anything else.

Dead Stock Identified Honestly

We flag inventory for equipment no longer installed, even though writing it off reduces what sits on your shelves and ours.

Manufacture When Sourcing Fails

Where a part genuinely no longer exists, we reverse engineer and make it instead of reporting it unavailable.

Unmarked Parts Identified

Components with no legible markings are identified by measurement and application, which is routine work rather than a dead end.

Stocked By Consequence, Not Frequency

Critical spares are identified by what stops the plant and what has a long lead time, rather than by what gets bought most often.

Cross-Referencing Done Properly

Substitutions are verified on the details that affect service life, not matched on outside dimensions and hoped for.

Shutdown Kits Verified

Outage kits are picked, counted and checked against the work scope before the shutdown, because a missing gasket at midnight costs a shift.

Dead Stock Named Honestly

Storeroom reviews tell you which stock is obsolete and why, even though writing it off reduces the inventory value we are helping you hold.

Cross Referencing Done Properly

Alternatives are verified dimensionally and by material against the original, because a catalog cross reference that nearly fits causes the next failure.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Because shutdowns lose more time to missing parts than to labour. Kitting the full scope in advance and verifying every item present before the outage begins removes the mid-outage scramble that routinely extends planned windows.

By failure consequence and lead time, not by purchase frequency. An inexpensive item available next day does not need deep stock; a long lead-time component with no redundancy whose failure stops production does, regardless of how rarely it fails.

Usually yes. Bearings, seals, bushings and many electrical components can be identified by measurement and application context. Send the part or detailed measurements and we will produce a part number and a current source.

We work surplus channels, decommissioned equipment, specialist brokers and remaining manufacturer stock first. Where nothing remains, we reverse engineer and manufacture the item, including confirming material selection and flagging any original design weakness.

Yes, where it is for equipment no longer installed or has been superseded. It reduces what sits on your shelves and ours, but carrying obsolete inventory distorts your stock value and hides the gaps that actually matter.

Only if done on dimensions alone. We verify the secondary details that determine service life, such as internal clearance and seal arrangement on bearings or compound and temperature rating on seals. A dimensional-only match is where substitutions go wrong.
